We have an obligation to our producers, markets, and insureds to give exceptional value added service.  We take pride in the fact that we currently insure over 9000 businesses in the Rocky Mountain region and beyond. Everyone at Adco from the receptionist to ownership plays a vital role and is committed to value added service.

Do what we say we’re going to do.  Honesty and dealing with people in a straight forward manner are extremely important qualities that all our people possess.  If someone in our office tells you something will get done, we make sure that it will.  Of course we have to be realistic, so we’ll tell you up front if there’s something we can’t do or if we’re just not sure and we need to get back to you with the answer.

Positive, Respectful, and Dynamic Corporate Culture

This starts in our office with treating each other , our producers, and companies with respect every day.  Situations are going to come up from time to time where emotions are running high, but there still needs to be a certain level of respect in these times.   We have an office where people enjoy coming to work(most of the time) and our corporate culture is a big part of this.  

Insurance and fun are not two words you usually see in the same sentence, but we make an effort to keep things light around the office and try to make our office an enjoyable place to be.  We think you can have some fun and have a sense of urgency about getting work done at the same time.

 

Social Responsibility:

Social responsibility is an important part of our company.  We believe we have an obligation to be a positive influence on our community and have a minimal impact on the environment.  Besides being the right thing to do, it makes good business sense in the long run for our society and environment to be in the best shape possible.

Our philosophy is that we can be a successful, profitable company and be socially responsible at the same time. We think being a socially responsible company actually contributes to our financial success.  By no means do we claim to be perfect, but we always try to do business in an honorable manner and treat people how we would like to be treated.

 

Here are some things that Adco has done recently in the community:


Blood drive for Children’s Hospital – We had the Children’s Hospital blood donor bus come to Adco and we gave 30 pints.  We did this in honor of a former employee who lost a significant amount of blood during childbirth.
Habitat for Humanity – We donated a plot of land right here in our neighborhood at 1162 Kalamath to Habitat for Humanity.  It was the first Habitat for Humanity house built in downtown Denver, which Habitat was very excited about.   For 3 full days, we had 7 employees from Adco work on the house each day. We were very excited to donate the land and help build a house right here in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Matching donation program:  Starting in 2006, Adco started matching employee donations to non profits up to $250 per employee.
