About ADCO
Adco General is an independent, family owned, regional general agent and wholesale broker with national capabilities. 
Adco General is the largest independent managing general agent and wholesale broker in Colorado. We do not work with the general public, but with insurance agents. When an agent can’t place a risk with their in house standard markets, they come to us in order to have access to over 60 specialty excess & surplus lines markets from around the world(including Lloyds of London).
Adco General was founded in 1969 by Edward Willis. Dick Thomas joined Adco as an underwriter in 1970 and became the sole principal in 1990. Adco specializes in writing commercial property and casualty risks in the Rocky Mountain region, but has the capability to write business nationally.
