First, you need to be a contracted Adco General producer. If you are not, talk to Alex Thomas. If you are already a contracted Adco producer, you can get a quote from us in the following ways:
Our Account Executives have access to over 100 excess and surplus lines insurance markets; all rated at least A- by AM Best. The two main differences between the insurance carriers we represent is the fact that some give us in house binding authority while others operate only a brokerage basis. Some of our companies write binding authority and brokerage business.
Our binding authority companies generally write lower hazard business and more “main street” type accounts. Adco’s Account Executives have the ability to quote and bind submissions that fit the guidelines provided by the insurance company. Classes written by our binding authority markets include general liability, lower limit property, package, commercial auto, garage liability, inland marine, and liquor liability.
If a risk falls outside of our binding authority then your Account Executive will to submit the account to our brokerage markets. Brokerage companies do not give us binding authority so we must negotiate with the carrier to secure a quote. The more unique and one of kind accounts are quoted by our brokerage markets. Typical lines of business written by our brokerage companies include general liability, professional liability, directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, excess and umbrella liability, environmental liability, and high value property.
Thank you for your business!
